        石蜡是石油加工产品的一种。固体烷烃的混合物。无臭无味、白色或淡黄色固体。由天然石油和人造的含蜡馏分用冷榨或溶剂脱蜡、发汗等方法制得。石蜡是矿物蜡的一种，碳原子数约为18～ 30的烃类混合物，主要组分为直链烷烃（约为80%～95%），还有少量带个别支链的烷烃和带长侧链的单环环烷烃（两者合计含量20%以下）。主要用作食品及其他商品（如蜡纸、蜡笔、蜡烛、复写纸）的组分及包装材料，烘烤容器的涂敷料、化妆品原料，用于水果保鲜、提高橡胶抗老化性和增加柔韧性、电器元件绝缘、精密铸造等方面，也可用于氧化生成合成脂肪酸。

        Paraffin wax is a kind of petroleum processing product. A mixture of solid alkanes. Odorless, tasteless, white or yellowish solids. It is obtained by cold pressing or solvent dewaxing, sweating, etc. Paraffin is a kind of mineral wax, carbon atom number approximately 18 ~ 30 hydrocarbon mixtures, primary group is divided into alkanes (approximately 80% ~ 95%), and a small amount of individual branched alkanes and with long side chain of monocyclic naphthenes (both total content below 20%). Mainly used for food and other commodities (such as wax paper, crayons, candles, carbon paper) of components and packing materials, baking container with dressing, cosmetics raw materials, used for fruit preservation, improve rubber insulation aging resistance and increase flexibility, electrical apparatus, precision casting, etc., also it be used to generate synthetic fatty acid oxidation.

由于石蜡废气浓度中低，且风量小，适合用催化燃烧，催化燃烧技术是传统的有机废气治理技术，也是目前最广泛的VOCs治理技术，适用于处置常温、中高浓度含挥发性有机物的废气，主要包括一些有机溶剂如苯类、酮类、醚类、烷烃类，适用于各类石化废气。CO催化燃烧适用于浓度在2000~ 8000mg/m³，风量在500~5000m³/h，其运营成本低，去除率高95%以上。
